As I am preparing to apply for med schools next year, I came up with an idea for a web app that I thought would be useful to help organize this process.
With the app, you would be able to create a list of schools, and the app will give you (formatted in a pretty fashion):
Main feature:
[*]interview/school helper (will organize/print out your notes for each school on your list).
This is essentially a one-page sheet with your own notes about the school (ie. interested in this school because of such-and-such research program, etc.), as well as some other data like Us world/news ranking, avg gpa, mcat, etc.
Other Random information
The reason I am posting this here is that I am kind of on the fence about whether to commit the time to build out this web app.
Do you guys think this would be useful (would you use such an app if it existed)? How are you guys organizing your notes and things for the 10-15-20 schools that you are applying for? Any thoughts or suggestions on this idea?

- cost of secondaries
- total cost of applying to all your schools (primaries + secondaries)
- google map plotting all your schools you plan to apply to
- note section to jot down important information about the schools
- mean, median gpa
- avg mcat
- resident/oos status
