Does anyone consider the life of actors doing a network TV show?

They basically work 18-20 hour days for 10s of weeks at a time, and they work very hard all day. It is very intense. Sure they get paid a lot, but that doesn't really matter until after they are done.

Medical school doesn't require that much time, just time spent in a different way. It just depends on the person and what they consider to be a difficult way to spend yout ime.

My point is I don't think it's useful to judge the "difficulty" of something based on how much time you put in.

From people who graduated from my ugrad program (Chemical Engineering) and now attend medical school, they tell me that med school is much easier. For comparison, in undergrad I would work until 2am and get up in time for 8am classes, often for weeks at a time. This was pretty common amongst my classmates.

My sister, who is now a MSI, has class from 8am to 12pm most days. Some days she has to stay until 6pm for her Anatomy lab (Strangely, some of her classmates think this is too much classtime!). She works in a local clinic once a week and she studies daily, but she still has plenty of time.
