I’m wondering if any current medical students could provide any advice on prepping for medical school. I work as a scribe 3-4 days a week and volunteer a bit here and there. I have a decent amount of free time to review material or do whatever else I need to do to prepare. I spend an hour a day on a treadmill while typically watching science videos or doing biochem flashcards. I bought an anatomy coloring book because I was figured I should retire my Sesame Street one and color something a bit more useful. Point is, I’m not really “actively” studying and prepping, I’m just sort of intertwining this stuff into my everyday activities. I’m trying to figure out what’s important or even worth reviewing before medical school and to relax as much as possible. Is there anything I must know before starting or should I not worry about it?

You should not worry about it.

P.S. Bring back the Sesame Street coloring book, sounds chill

Do well as an undergraduate student. That's how you prepare for medical school

A lot of people say to learn how to cook, and find recipes you like that are quick and easy or can be made ahead of time and frozen. Also, I’m trying to find healthy snack options, and build bomb study or workout playlists on Spotify. And learning how to exercise more/get that into my routine, which includes yoga from YouTube videos, and mini run-walks because I don’t purposefully exercise regularly outside of necessary walking across campus and up the 4 flights of library stairs haha.
