Med School Scholarships

I was wondering if there were any websites that listed where I can find medical student scholarships, outside of the institutional ones. Is there a med school/grad school equivalent of fastweb.com? I remember finding college scholarships was pretty easy, and so I was wondering where to begin looking for med school scholarships. I will be starting in Fall 2011. Thanks!

This is actually a great resource, click on the link to look at the excel file. I'm convinced one of the reasons debt is so low at my school is that many students apply for and win outside scholarships on this list.

Really? I never got anything useful off Fastweb. Anyway, there is no Fastweb equivalent for medical school yet. You can explore outside scholarships like the one listed below, or you can shoot for the scholarships given by the schools themselves. This is most common because most people don't like giving scholarships to med students because they'll presumably out-earn everyone else anyway. It's so much easier to earn scholarships if you're just a straight science student.

Anyway, search "scholarship" on the SDN search and you'll find many years worth of posts discussing the various schools that offer scholarships, many of which are full tuition.

Namerguy is right. I just signed up and used Fastweb last night. It's not that great of a resource. The scholarships that were available were annoying, difficult, and unique. Don't get me wrong some weren't too bad to try to get, but I'm sure a lot of them are competitive. I'd rather just look in one of those big books of scholarships you see at Barnes n Nobles.
