Just a small poll.

1) How long did it take each of you to procure a spot in your respective medical school classes?

2) What is it that brought each of you to the medical field i.e. what led you to become a doctor?

3) What struggles did you face in trying to achieve this goal? Grades, personal struggles, emotional doubts?

4) Coke or Pepsi?

1. 3 weeks
2. trophy hunting
3. sleeping/eating/chores and other stuff that get in the way
4. diet coke with lemon

Perhaps you have received no answers since your questions are quite vague.
I'll try to do my best

1) How long since when to when? Since birth? I started school at age 32 years. Since I graduated from undergrad - 6 years. Since I sent in my application until the time school started: about 13 months. I'm not sure what you are getting at in this question.

2) Something to do for a living

3) I didn't find anything much of a struggle...some of it was difficult but not quite a struggle.

4) I prefer grapefruit juice

What is this, the AMCAS PS all over again? You are giving us PTSD flashbacks, wanting us to talk about this.

Ask more focussed, narrowly-framed questions, and people will be happy to school you. We just got burned out on too many freakin' secondaries asking the same stuff.

Good luck.
