My brother is an MD finishing up his residency this year. I was a hopeful pre-med, until his family's (he has a wife and 3 kids) pleas got to me... I have 2 kids of my own and was incredibly worried about "sacrificing" my family for my career........ since then I have changed my major to pre-nursing, but I'm not sure if I made the right choice or not. I'm waffling, as usual. 🙂

My brother is a doc. We get along great.

Manna, don't quit! My brother did it with a family and I am too. Just be very selective about where you apply. Pick places that are family friendly and have established support groups.
