No because they would require supervision of a physician.

So what would that have to do with your fellowship or is there a clinical component?PA=NP right? I would hope you discuss fixing that issue to allow PAs into the program if NPs are allowed.

Currently New York State Law requires a PA note to be co-signed by a physician and requires supervision which would require two practitioners to perform each consult. We are hopeful that our PA colleagues will be able to lobby a change that would allow smaller specialties like ours to not incur the cost this rule forces. In NYS NPs on the other hand do not have that practice restriction

Are you advocating for PA independent provider status?

It's funny when I looked up the job on third party sites it states PAs are allowed. Are you a NP by chance?
