Be sure to ask PLENTY of insightful questions. Use MCAT passages for ideas. BS passages work GREAT if you want to look like you've been getting lots of clinical experience, while PS looks good for making you look strong on research and VR passage examples are amazing for making you seem like a very well-rounded and high-brow individual. I'd recommend a nice blend of the three, of course.

If it's a school you're interested in, while they show off their bells and whistles, take notice of how happy the students look and what type of students are there.

What you should do depends on why you are going. Why are you taking medical school tours.
Just enjoy yourself. Honestly, unless you say you hate patients or that it's your "safety school," you can't really do anything that's going to screw up your chances on a tour. Every school's student body will tell you that they are happy--in fact, if you're actually at a school where they don't, that would be a red flag, cuz it's gotta be pretty bad for them to not at least fake it for the people touring. Ask instead about the curriculum and how much time is spent in class; if you're a self-study kind of person, you might not want to be at a school that's in class 9-4 every day, but on the other hand, if you're an audio learner who likes the structure of lecture, that might be a plus for you.
OP, ignore the sarcastic comments. I can understand why it would be a good idea to tour medical schools before applying. It wasn't until I did my tours at interviews that the magnitude of medical education really hit home with me, and it wouldn't necessarily have been a bad idea for me to be exposed to this before I had invested so much. (Not that it would have changed anything, I'm still pysched about going to school)
I would reiterate the more serious responses in attending and keeping your eyes and ears open. See how the students are, get an understanding of how they handle their curriculum, etc. This is going to have no impact on future applications, but its a good idea to personally understand a little better what you are getting yourself into.

Definitely keep your eyes open. What kind of eye candy do they have on campus? Try to remain objective and don't fall into using your pre-med blinders or applying the pre med curve to the people you see - sometimes it helps to bring a friend along who is majoring in business or communication sciences. If the average isn't at least a 7, you're going to have to ask why can't the school attract the attractive?
