well i was thinking about going to the masters program in medical science here at mcmaster university..

does anyone know anything about this??

what are the job opportunities and the saleries for medical reserach type of jobs, for people with a masters degree...??

The MSc in medical sciences at Mac is like a typical MSc program. Mac has some great faculty, so if you can hook up with a group and mentor that you really get along with, it will be fantastic.

If you are interested in gene therapy, the Centre for Gene Therapeutics (http://www.fhs.mcmaster.ca/cgt/) is well-known and very productive. The new facilities in the Degroote buildling are nice too.

I don't know much about prospects following an MSc, but that would be universal info.
