Jacobi doesn't have many fellowship training programs, except nephrology. But they state that they have this pathway in every subspeciality. Did they ever offer this pathway to anyone? Or they just put this information on the website to boost their program.

The program does exist and infact 2 of the recent graduates of the program have matched successfully: Dana Farber for Hem/Onc and the other, if I'm not mistaken is to go to MSKCC.
Contact the program and request information.😀

Stergs, thank you!

Before, I thought that Medical Scientist Pathway is only trained in Jacobi. From what you said, is it a combined program with another hospital? And, what is the advantages of this pathway? Is it for people who are obsessed with research? The time spent to finish the program is even longer than the usual pathway (resident + fellowship), as some subspeciaties requires > 6 years. Or, they will guarantee a job in their hospital after the training?

Another question: as to Jacobi and Long Island Jewish Hospital, which one is better? The latter actually has fellowship in almost every subspeciaties.

Any opinion about these? Thanks! 🙂
