I'm considering taking a medical terminology course next semester. Has anyone here found this class to be helpful?

This may have already been posted, and if so, I'm sorry in advance. But...does Medical Terminology count in your BCPM GPA? The course that I took had a BIO prefix, and frankly, I'm not sure whether to classify it as BCPM or not? Thanks so much!
It's taught through the Biology Department with a BIO 2000 course number.
Hi Y'all!
I am signed up to take Medical Terminology this spring and I was wondering the following things:
Does anyone have the Textbook the Language of Medicine by Chabner 8th Ed for sale? I saw it on Amazon Marketrplace used for $20 in acceptable condition. Rather buy it from SDNer and in better condition.
Is this a book worthy of keeping around after the semester? Do med students reference it or by then do you just know it all?
We don't need the online access for my class. My teacher makes us print out a report that we did the exercises on the cd as our "homework".Is the online access worthwhile getting or does the CD contain it all?
Any Med students with feedback?Does the edition matter? Should I wait for the first day of class and find it if the edition matters or just buy it now for a steal at $20 (including shipping)? I saw the 7th edition for sale on ebay for $10 (including shipping)
Did anyone buy a medical dictionary to go along with the class? What medical dictionaries do you recommend getting? I would like to buy what is used in Med school.
Do med students ever look in medical dictionaries or do you just google everything?
Any general advice for the class? I already took A and P and I am always interested in the etymology of words so I am looking forward to the class.
Thanks!
Good luck to all!
