Hi everyone,

I was curious if you happen to discuss certain medical situations that took place in your life, like surgeries etc etc how technical do you need to be with your interviewer, as in do we need to bust out the standard medical lingo or something close to it to seem like we know the stuff, or would that be considered presumptous. Again Im just looking for opinions and your thoughts on this.

Don't stress too much about it. They know you're not a doctor. Maybe know the basic science but don't obsess about extensive medical knowledge. I guess if you actually discussed these "medical situations" in your personal statement then maybe you might want to know a little bit just to be fully prepared.

honestly, just be yourself. i know, it sounds cliche, but i've sat in on too many interviews to give any other advice. the interview is your chance to provide some personality and context to what is probably a pretty good application on paper. there's no need to add anything extra. just be yourself -- no need to get all clinical. heck you might not even interview with a physician or clinician -- it could be a basic science guy so the words would just be flyin' over their head too.
