I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with Medicare part B spamming you guys with forms requesting information on the model of the nebualizer even though you only filled for the solution ... ie albuterol 0.083 percent neb solution.
I find it ludicrous because how the hell do I get the model number off the nebualizer that the patient is using especially if they didnt get it from our pharmacy. Why does the pharmacy got to provide the information and how should it affect our reembursements? I can understand diagnosis codes.. AOB forms, etc but nebualizer machine model number??? How do I even contact the patient for the number if the script was filled 6 months ago?
Your thoughts? Any information is much appreciated...
