After having pretty strong academic performances in my first stretch of college, I started taking a medication. I noticed something after this -- grades dropped and I couldn't retain information like I use to.

Is it possible for medications to do this? I can't retain information, I have a hard time remembering some things, and once I learn and study something, I won't remember most of it a while later. Unfortunately I haven't stopped taking this medication because I need it.

Have any of you had this experience? If so, what did you do? I'm thinking about going to a vitamin/organic/holistic shop to see if there are any alternatives.

I would definately consult a doctor if you feel you are having issues.

Good advice. If you are having adverse side effects with your medication, you need to bring it up to your physician. Don't go to some holistic medicine shop or start taking random herbals since that may have unintended interactions. Seek advice from your physician first.
