Do you mind sharing your stats and when you got invited? I only ask because I got a 503 MCAT score (127, 125, 123, 128) and Nikki told me my MCAT score was outside of MEDPATH consideration (494-500).
I think you can email Nikki why you should be considered for the program since 503 is close to the MCAT range. She might make an exception. That's what I heard from some other applicants from previous years.

Yes. There is a separate application for MedPath. They will send you an invitation after they review your secondary application and reject you from OSU regular MD admission but consider you a good candidate for MEDPATH (I think 495-500 MCAT and >3.0 GPA maybe lower GPA, dunno). DM'ed you the questions. I think it's 9 short statements and 2 long personal statements.

From what I've read about past classes, generally 13-14 matriculate from the program into the M1 year. I haven't seen a provided stat from the program, but didn't dig too heavily.
They don't tell us until Mid-March

I’m sure you can still apply to other schools, I don’t think there’s any signed agreement. Maybe frowned upon because it takes that spot from others.
I think just the tuition (excluding living expenses and books and stuff) is around the same as the first year of medical school. So if you are out of state, it is like 50k. If you are in state, its like 30k. I heard from previous years that students with certain financial hardship on a case-by-case basis can apply for tuition waivers and then you just take out loans for living expenses.
So - one thing to consider, it kind of defeats the purpose to do this. You would basically need to retake the MCAT between now and July and reapply this summer, and by the time you would start you would ultimately be starting the M1 year at OSU. It seems that going that route wouldn't make much sense unless you just didn't want to go to OSU for medical school. By the time you finished this program and if you were to apply the following summer, it would be assumed that you would basically be foregoing starting medical school by a year and giving up an acceptance at OSU.
I agree with this! I would only suggest applying elsewhere if you’re certain you’re not going to meet all the conditions for full acceptance towards the end of the program.

I haven’t read anything on any of the prior posts. I’m sure you have a short (maybe 2-3 weeks max?) to accept. But obviously as they told us on the application, if accepted to another school, you have to turn down this program.
