Why is MedPR's account on hold, anyone know what happened? I didn't know SDN could do that.

Hes been a big help in providing information to me and many others on SDN.

This will either get really interesting or get locked tighter than an esophageal sphincter. Can't wait!! Oh and, what did happen to MedPR? While sometimes abrasive he, for the most part, has been a positive contributor to the forum.

Not being harsh, but calling out members (even for a good thing) violates the SDN TOS. In before the :lock:.

How am i talking crap? I'm simply stating that he made it into an MD school with stats that are >1 standard deviation from the average. Not impossible but also unlikely for most people.

what wrong with a DO school? Sounds like you're the one with the MD superiority complex. I wasn't trolling i was simply stating a fact. His stats are available on his MDApps

You're the one saying he shouldn't be trolling since he got into an MD school with low stats. Had he only gotten into DO schools, would he have lost his right to make troll posts?

No, what i meant to imply was that he shouldn't troll on other Pre-Allo applicants due to the fact that he was admitted to an allopathic school with lower stats than them. I don't understand your need to fiercely "defend" others but what i'm saying is logically true. Look up his stats, you'll see they are quite under the average but obviously good for him that he made it!
 
hmmm..maybe it's good for him. he spends a lot of time on SDN

I'm sure that MedPR would be glad to see a serious argument as to why he got reprimanded.
 
Well, before this thread gets locked...I'm sure MedPR crossed that line which led to his hold, and we can only hope that it won't become permanent!

Well the way I interpret MedPR is a person who is blunt and to the point (I am not much of a fan of this but there are people like that and I am use to it). I have know well seasoned SDNers who are also pretty blunt as well (maybe more so than MedPR).

Also it should not matter what stats a person has, people should not troll on others period!
 
How do u tell if he is on hold?

yeah i know that which is why i wasn't saying anything negative towards him but rather just pointing out a significant observation and don't tell me how to spell my username- the correct spelling was already taken when i created my account
