?????

This thread is so beautiful. How is it still alive?? XD

I wonder if I got banned if anybody would post about my absence...

This is probably the number one used meme on SDN.

Sent from my iPhone using SDN Mobile app please excuse punctuation and spelling

Because that's how most people function on here. They believe they're a badass and then the meme gets used. Think of this like a smarter, trollier version of CC,

I'm surprised how long this train wreck of a thread has been alive.

Well the way I interpret MedPR is a person who is blunt and to the point (I am not much of a fan of this but there are people like that and I am use to it). I have know well seasoned SDNers who are also pretty blunt as well (maybe more so than MedPR).
I keep it real.

Yup, but there are some people who are blunt and just pushing their agenda as if it were an absolute. There's a difference between being cynical and just plain asshatery.

I think the mods have gone on sabbatical from SDN. There's no other explanation for why this thread would still be unlocked.

On the plus side, I just discovered a whole new set of smiley faces of SDN.

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Also it should not matter what stats a person has, people should not troll on others period!

He had 11k posts to get busted over that.

I'm only posting ~11 times per day... and that's definitely not a good thing. I'm taking a break from SDN to reduce my post frequency.

Don't worry, friend. When your account gets put on hold I will start a thread for you with the title "Agent B" and we will reminisce on your rich history with SDN.

No!!! Josh7 is an awesome person, and it would be terrible for him to get banned! Well... NickNaylor, the mods, Venom5, Doctor Strange, the 2016ers, the Prowler, mimelim, the residents/attendings, etc etc. are all awesome people and it would be sad if any of them get banned. 🙁

....and those applying for the class of 2020.

😳 I thought that was implied... okay since the thread is still going on, here's my list...

anyone who isn't "evil" = awesome; by evil, I mean anyone who doesn't annoy other members or "clearly" violate the TOS; so, that essentially includes everyone except trolls. I hope that clears it up.

 Beats me. Just enjoying some random conversation here... Also, sorry Josh7, but biomedical engineering should be part of materials engineering.

That would be fine with me

The research that I do right now is biomedical engineering and it's still classified as MatSE according to my university

Lol what's so special about Irish football? And by that I don't mean you personally.. I mean why aren't you American Football. What is it about the Irish that tickles your fancy so much?

Just curious lol

Are you serious?
In case you are,

and my avatar,

And I do like American Football as well, especially since the Irish Football that I like happens to be American Football.

I haven't read all of this thread, but why do you say that? My BME work is mostly electrical engineering.

Definitely mainly a combo of Materials w/ EE. For example the research i work on his nano-integrated circuitry on flexible membranes for non invasive surgeries and what not so that really combines MatSE stuff and EE. The circuits are pretty simple though so I'd lean towards saying it's more MatSE than EE but it really varies from project to project

TIL Notre Dame had a football team.

Are you referring to neuroengineering? It makes sense in that case. I felt that the concepts in BME is more similar to Mat. Sci, such as the chemistry behind it. Biomaterials seems to emphasize that. I created a sword model for engineering fields... not sure where that went.

You have some awesome research there... combination of electrical/materials/clinical/BME...

This thread is silly and nonsensical, so I'm just including that TheProwler is awesome and one of my favorite SDNers. You're one of us, that has Pokemon-esque evolved into a real surgeon; huzzah.

Scotch. And Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Meh. I'm indifferent in college football, as long as Alabama doesn't win. And I just realized that Notre Dame is in Indiana... 😳

Notre Dame is going to get smoked. SEC dominates.

I agree that TheProwler is a great SDNer. He, mimelim and Winged Scapula (and some others) provide very useful information regarding their experiences in surgery and medicine overall... sure some of them is technical, since we're not in med school yet, but overall, I'm glad they take the time to contribute to SDN. They are good role models.
