Meharry medical college summer program for minorities

What are the advantages of participating in Meharry's summer program. Will it increase my chances of getting accepted into Meharry's medical school. I Will be taking the mcat in August and applying to meharry this year.And dose anyone know what their numbers are(mcat, gpa), and what type of reputation do they have. Thanks for your reponse. KB

Have you applied to this program yet? I hear that it is a very good program. You can find out about it at Meharry's web site. I have applied for admission to Meharry for 2001 and have not heard anything back yet. So, I am thinking of applying to the HCOP program to better my chances for next years admissions. I too am interested in finding out what the acceptance rate is for this program. If you find out, please post your info here.
