Just a quick question. When comparing say C-C-C-OH with C-C-C-C-C-OH, the first one has a higher boiling point because the carbons disrupt the hydrogen bonding on the second one BUT when comparing the same 2 molecules for melting points, the second one has a higher melting point because it has more weight. Does this make sense or am I interpreting it wrong. Thanks for the help 🙂
