Did anyone need to? I'm 25 and I'm pretty sure my sense of humor will never grow up or get out of the gutter 😎 I love this thread.

I believe this dog is having an epileptic seizure.
LOL I don't think so. (I've seen the actual video) I haven't seen a seizure look like that, with perfect leg running form (not that I am the end all be all by any means), and what makes me really think not is that's he's really steady on his feet afterward. If it was anything like the grand mals I've seen he would be having a very hard time standing. I'm pretty sure it was a dream.I believe this dog is having an epileptic seizure.
Looks just like my sister's epileptic dog. Her seizures look just like that and she is able to stand just fine after. She is disoriented but able to stand.LOL I don't think so. Yeah, I started to figure there were some out there that looked like that that you had seen after I had posted. I just hadn't seen any at the clinic I've worked in for a long time (6yrs) but I know that that by far does not make me an expert 🙂 (Only seen a small sliver of the possibilities out there) I promise this guy isn't having one though. I saw the video a while back and just ran across the GIF. Still makes me feel bad for him thoughLooks just like my sister's epileptic dog. Poor guy ran into a wall.(As a side note, that is one of the things that tops my list on things I want to change about myself. I sometimes sound like a know-it-all when I totally don't mean to lol)
Full video of that gif.

Sorry if the language offends, but it was too funny. Had to share 😀
I can't remember what it was but our Neuro professor who has seen the whole video did think it was a certain diagnosis and not just dreaming. The diagnosis was a sleep related episode. Wish I could remember!
Wow that's super interesting. Maybe I was just assuming because the owners posted the vid as dreaming. (but we all know owners make stuff up.... kinda like me!! 😀 )I can't remember what it was but our Neuro professor who has seen the whole video did think it was a certain diagnosis and not just dreaming. They have posted several videos of the dog doing this. If it happened once, I'd be more likely to just say it was a really good dream but since it is repetitive as well as much more severe than a normal dog, there's definitely something neurologic. Not necessarily life threatening but not normal, for sure! I'll see if I can remember what prof it was and send off an e-mail.
Ooooooh. See I thought it was one video. Like I said, I totally don't know what I'm talking aboutThey have posted several videos of the dog doing this.
