I'm gonna go for lynch Dyachei and LIS now until anything better comes up. I have 4 classes in a row. The last two don't allow computers/I have a test in.

JJ couldn't be killed by wolves. She wasn't protected from everything.

Last game isn't the best example because if the third group that weren't wolves or villagers. What about in past games? I don't think stealing is exclusively for wolves. I can see protection could be both as well.

My group's ability is not role stealing.
Hedgie, WS and wildcat know what it is though.

I have seen stealing for both wolves and villagers... more so wolves than villagers... but it has been a power given to both sides.

I have seen protection at night as a role for villagers... I can't recall if I have seen that for a wolf or not, generally they don't need protection, of course there have been games where there are exceptions (i.e. games with 2 separate wolf packs that both kill, but still no wolf was given a protection role). I have definitely seen where wolves have received protection items... but I am not sure we have any items in this game... I have yet to see any or hear of any and it sounds more like a role..

I think generally, I am more willing to accept a protection from attack role as that of a villager more than I would think it to be a wolf... but stranger things have happened.

Stealing I am torn in half... I could go either way and I have seen it be given to both sides... villagers and wolves.
 
You just made two assumptions:
That I tried to steal your identity.
That my group tried to steal your ability.
With zero proof for either.

Yet, DocE straight up told me you are protected indefinitely from identify theft.

You ran with that, saying you were protected from all night time actions.
 
No one wants to share what the group abilities are? I honestly believe us keeping them secret helps the wolves more than it helps us.... I don't think sharing our group skill would really help the wolves out at all even if they don't know it already...
 
I can PM one player each night in my group. Only one person in my group has taken advantage of our ability to do that.

How do we know its not a wolfy role where a villager goes down with you?

So far, has anyone known that someone else was going to drop dead when they were lynched?

I have seen a few chaos roles, but only ones in which they are in the game for themselves... they have their own set of win conditions... I have not seen a chaotic villager as of yet, but I could be mistaken.

I still don't understand this whole identity theft thing. Trema, you might want to explain more fully. Also, I see it as more of a villager ability than a wolf one but anything is possible.

As for group abilities, I'm fine with revealing ours. Memebase can move people, swap people, or dethrone a different group's leader. I will leave it to 4chan on whether or not they want to reveal.

I am Scumbag Steve.
My one time ability is that I can steal a role and keep it.

I was getting tired if having PM powers as a leader but nothing else, so I decided to use my ability.

Because of the negative stigma surrounding my ability, I did not want to steal from my group (who can communicate with me) or the Wiki group (because WS and I exchanged roles) or an experienced player (like DVM). I chose Packen randomly. I got back that Packen was protected from identify theft and I did not succeed.

Now, to gain your trust, I can vow not to try it again.

Or you can spare me and I can try to role-steal from one of the wolfy suspects. If it comes back that I cannot steal their role, maybe there is something up with Packen?

Because of the negative stigma around role-stealers, it won't be a good idea for me to ask for protection. If the wolves don't get me, I will die at the lynch anyway.

I was a villager with a role-stealing abilities once. That went over quite badly. Hence me not wanting to announce it to everyone unless necessary.

My resurrection was not related to the chocolate rain. I figured from the description that the rain prevented a night kill in exchange for a double lynch.

I am equally torn 3 ways here: you, trema and ws....

I have to get going to the cattle practical... if for some reason I get back early, I may change my vote.
 
I'm cool with revealing our group role but hedgie's the leader and I'd want her ok first. She probably knows how it interacts with DocE better than any of us anyway.

Still noodling my lynch votes.

I think I would like to keep 4Chan's group role secret for now. If any of the other trolls in 4Chan disagree, let me know.
 
Before I forget, if Packen is protected by all nighttime actions, wouldn't she get a PM that stated an action was performed and failed?

I never lied.
Packen stated that I was a role-stealer.
I responded with "I did not say that I was" because I had not said I was until now. I did not say, "No, I am not a role-stealer."

See the difference?

I never said I was something I wasn't. When people made assumptions, I just stated that I never told them that. Obviously I wanted badly not to admit this if I didn't have to. It would have been worse if I had said I wasn't a role stealer or that I was something else. I just said I never said I was or wasn't.

Guys, I don't think Trem is a wolf. We PM quite a bit for group strategy. Role-stealing isn't exclusive for either side and while I think it may have been best to explain her ability upfront, I can understand the hesitation to share.

I also don't think it's a good plan to lynch dyachei if she takes villagers down too. That being said, I don't know much about chaotic characters.

So for now, I'm not sure my second lynch will be.
