I did a search on Polyatomic Ions and no result came up. So, anyways, is it a good idea to memorize all the polyatomic ions? Since there are so many, I feel like I'm wasting time memorizing them.

Why would you need to memorize all polyatomic ions?...Am I missing anything?

I'd at least know the charges of the obvious ones like sulfate, phosphate, and nitrate. I think that's pretty crucial.

The oxyanions that you learned in GChem 1 is definitely necessary. Also ammonium. And their charges.
