I realize this isn't really a medical question, but I'm hoping someone here would have advice.

I have several memory foam dog beds which really really need to be cleaned. Washing the cover is easy, it's the foam itself I'm concerned with. When I got these beds they were covered with warnings about how they are super flamable. Anyway, the only good soln I can think of is to wash them with the hose or in the tub and let them air dry....which seems like it might take forvever because they are so dense. I'd imagine that their cleaning is simmilar to the people foam beds, but I don't know how those are cleaned...maybe a steanm rug scrubber?

Any suggestions would be great. I just don't want to do one thing and then find out that there was a much better way. I literally have 4 of these beds...one I intended to be "on cleaning rotation"...he really needs 3 to be around so the shorter I can have the cleaning time the better.

Thanks again

I don't know for sure, but I would think scrubbing them in the tub or outside with a hose would probably be the best thing. You could try using dish detergent or a similar product to get them really clean and then wring out as much of the water as you can so they don't take forever to dry.
I would try it with one first and see how it goes.
