Dr. Mike Parent from the University of Texas at Austin and Dr. Karen O’Brien from the University of Maryland would like to invite you to participate in a study on approaches to working with death and dying in clinical contexts, among mental health care professionals—ALL mental health care professionals or trainees are welcome to participate, and you do not need to have clinical experience with death and dying to participate!!

We would like to invite you to participate in this study if:

-You are a graduate student (masters or doctoral), OR a current professional in any mental health service profession, including counseling/clinical psychology, school psychology, social work, professional counseling, or any other mental health professions that include direct clinical service.

-You currently provide clinical services to any client population, for any number of hours per week (e.g., full time or part time, or as part of your current training).

Participation in this study will involve completing a set of surveys and providing written responses to a clinical vignette. We estimate that participation would take 10-20 minutes.

Participants will be able to enter their email addresses to be entered to win one of five $25 gift cards from amazon (email addresses will be stored in a database separate from the survey responses).

This study has been approved by the University of Texas at Austin IRB 2017-11-0018.

Please copy and paste the link below if you wish to take part in the survey.
