Dear Colleagues,
Recently, the Joint Commission of National Dental Examination has unanimously voted to move the National Board Dental Examinations (NBDE) Part I and II to a pass/non pass format by 2010.
One additional idea circulating among many dental educators is to merge the two board exams into one single, clinically relevant and integrated exam. To assess potential pitfalls, problems, or advantages, as well as acceptance by different communities, I would appreciate if you could complete the attached VERY brief survey within the next few days. It will take you no more than 5 minutes to complete it.
To get additional feedback I would also appreciate if you could circulate this survey among faculty and students at your school for their input.
