Hey guys I've been trying to learn which body part comes from what germ layer but I keep getting them all confused. Have any of you come up with a way of remembering these? I remember Kaplan teaching us Ecto is like what you are appealed to, like the lense of the eye. But I recently found out that the retina comes from the ectoderm also!

Thanks!

Alright, here's what I'm doing:

Ectoderm:
anal canal
lens of eye, retina -l
mouth, nails, hair, skin -m
nervous system -n

I remember "lmn" and then add the 'a' to the beginning of the list.

Endoderm:
-Lungs, liver, pancreas
-lining
-bladder
-respiratory (and)
-digestive

Same strategy as before except now I remember "brad".

Mesoderm:
Everything else, including the heart.

My test is Wednesday so I guess I'll find out then how well it works.
