method of interview invites?

wondering the ways specific schools generally send interview invites (i.e. letters, emails, phone calls)?

(e.g. i know that wvsom sends invites by email)

COMP sent me an email. I had to call back to schedule the interview.

CCOM sent me a letter to log onto their web site to schedule interview.

TCOM called me and I scheduled the interview on the phone.
