Is this mark or anti-mark?
 
I think that's because the energetics are not favorable for HCl or HI. However, I don't have a better answer for you... Does anyone know??
 
Hmmm... I think it will turn into 1-bromo-1-methylcyclohexane. It will follow mark rule. Unless you have peroxide there...
 
No, the UV as part of the reagent is saying that it is a free radical addition. Peroxide , oxygen, or other impurities also mean it is a free radical addition.
