I'm a non traditional so it doesn't save me money. I just like living here and plan on practicing here.yea, living at home would definitely save some costs

Yes !Anyone looking for roommates?
Messaged you!
Is there a facebook group yet?
Can anyone comment on the campus, classrooms and labs? What you thought about them and liked or disliked???
Edit: haven't visited yet, interviewed by Skype due to inclement weather
there's a video of some of the spaces here: http://www.mghihp.edu/about-us/news-room/video-gallery/campus-tour.aspx
there's more to the campus than just the video though
Thanks, I watched the video yesterday and liked what I saw. But those are usually designed to highlight the best they have. Just wanted some personal feedback.
I am hoping to visit, but facing some time constraints with classes back in full swing
They do ! and I'm also super excited to meet everyone =)I think MGH will make a facebook group for us. Excited to meet you all!
The school consists of two academic buildings and a number of administrative offices scattered around the Charlestown Navy Yard. The two buildings that you'll spend all of your time in are The Catherine Shouse Building (Building 36) and 2 Constitution Center. Building 36 is older, and has more traditional classrooms. 2CC is much newer and has a lot of computers and video cameras, which is useful for lab work. The PT programs are mostly in 2CC (probably because of the lab space and because we're awesome) and B36 houses a lot of the other programs, though we do a fair amount of traditional lectures over there.
We don't have a traditional campus per se, but the Navy Yard acts as the campus and it's a pretty cool little place. It's in a smaller, quieter section of the city, right on the water, which is a nice contrast to the rest of Boston. The buildings themselves are on the small side in general, but they have really nice facilities and there's usually plenty of space to hang out and study or eat between classes.
Likes/dislikes: 2CC is a really cool lab space, there are a ton of tables, video cameras everywhere, and lots of monitors so you can see what's happening at all times. Plus, there's a really nice view of the USS Constitution, if it's still there by the time you guys start. B36 can get a little crowded at times, but they have a lot of quiet study space, which I like to take advantage of. Also, there is unlimited free coffee in both buildings. If that doesn't convince you, I don't know what will.
Same here! I haven't heard anything since the deadline passed, a little nerve racking, but my friend who is in the program already said they should send out the face book group in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we will get something soon, June will be here before we know it!!Has anyone received a confirmation of your seat in the class or any other correspondence from MGH IHP since paying the deposit?? I paid the deposit but haven't heard anything from them.....
