Just got my email last night, will be interviewing at MGH on January 24th. Who else will be there?

Do you guys mind sharing your stats? I applied as well and have not heard anything... Just wondering as to why that may be

I will be there the 24th! Very excited!

@agpt
My stats are:
GPA: 3.83 (pre req. 3.79)
Observation Hours: 170 including inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, ect.

@agpt I heard they wait until the first week of January to determine how many people accepted the interview and then they may notify more up until mid-January. I wouldn't count yourself out yet!

Got an email last week for an interview scheduled for Jan 31st! Looking forward and good luck to everyone 🙂

Good luck to people interviewing on Saturday! Let us know how it goes. I'll be there next week. Super excited.

In the city it is supposed to be a mix of snow and rain with Boston getting 1-2 inches of snow.

Rain mixed with snow is the worst, would have preferred just snow. Not too worried about getting there, it's coming back that might be a problem. I'm 2 hours away

Hello everyone! I am a first-year student at MGHIHP, and I was at the interviews today as part of the student panel. To those of you who already interviewed, congrats! If you're scheduled for next weekend, good luck! Either way, please let me know if you have any questions about the interviews, about the program, about moving to Boston, or anything else during the application process. I'm happy to help!

For those who interviewed Saturday, how did it go?
For those interviewing this week it looks like we might also have a snowstorm to deal with Friday night into Saturday.

I interviewed this past sat, and it went great!, I really liked the vibe I got from the school. The interview itself was in groups of 3 for most, but for my interview we were just two. It was more like have a conversation, it was relax. At the end of all interviews, there is a reception and you get to talk to faculty and students. I cant wait to hear back from the school. Goodluck!

To future MGH applicants! the interview is veryyy laid back with 2-3 students. it's a fun day to learn more about the program and the faculty. no worries! they interview about 140 students and want a class size of 70. have fun with it!

I'm curious...how much money do PT students usually get paid during the final clinical?

I believe they get paid ½ - ⅔ of an entry-level therapist's salary, depending on the specific location of the clinical

They mentioned depending on the internship the salary may get bumped up after you graduate and pass the boards which occurs during the internship

The purpose of this communication is to inform you that your admission decision will be ready for your review on 2/4/2015 6:00:00 PM. Oh goody! Time to eat popcorn til 6 PM guys. We're at the finish line folks. (I really really am, since this is the last school I'm hearing back from!)

Me too definitely accepting the offer of admission! hope to meet you all this summer for the start of classes 🙂

I was accepted as well! Did anyones letter say anything about scholarships? Or know when we will hear about that? Cost for me is the biggest determining factor...

I was notified I received a scholarship in the decision letter. They will tell us how much in a few days.
