Hi!

So after choosing a college (and before even starting), I'm already thinking ahead on what I want to do. I was accepted to Marquette's Pre Dental Scholars program, but turned it down for the University of Washington, where I'll be rowing and studying. I've looked at all the majors they offer and spoken with the athletic academic advisor and I plan on going towards a BS in Public Health. I've been thinking about what might come after that and my parents (both physicians) think I should do a MHA before applying for dental (my goal is to keep it all at UW, even though they did tell me it will be harder to make it into their dental after UW undergrad). From what I've read, the MHA program interests me because it goes deeper into administration than just the undergrad. Will this be beneficial (assuming solid GPA and DAT) to my application? Thankfully, money isn't a giant issue and I don't mind spending an extra year or two in school if it translates into knowing more about health administration. Will the MHA help me in my [hopefully] future career as a dentist? Sorry if I sound like an excited freshman, but I really like having a plan, even if ultimately nothing goes as planned:xf:

Thanks in advance for all the replies!
