Anybody know anything about this program beyond the scutwork jargon?
Yeah, he is dynamic and that's why he started a new CRNA program.I know the Chair, and he seems to be a good guy. Smart, dynamic, and on the ball. It's also the only game on the whole southern peninsula, now that USF is closing.

sal abdi is running pain dept there - he is AWESOME as a pain physician (just the right balance of interventions and non-interventional management)
The chair was one of my attendings at Duke. He since left and now is the chair at Miami. He is kind of a hard-ass, but that is a good think in residency. He was a stickler for details and made sure you really knew everything about the case. He is a sharp anesthesiologist. I imagine the program there is high quality. It would be hard to imagine him running a bad program.

So what? For the record, the person that everyone is referring to is David A. Lubarsky, primarily famous for being one of the co-authors of the Board Stiff books.
So what?
Does that make it ok for him to start a CRNA program?
Oh wait, I forgot, he needs CRNA's so the residents have better hours and can go to more lectures! then these CRNA's are forced by Lubrasky to never compete with his resdents in the job market 😉
