I applied to MIAMI as out of state so apparently they screen. I got these 2 emails today, do either mean I passed the screen, or does this mean they are going to screen me. any responses would be much appreciated
The first email said this:
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO APPLICANTS FOR THE 2005 ENTERING CLASS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
To initiate the review of your AMCAS application which has arrived at the University of Miami School of Medicine, you must go to the URL shown below and complete an "Acknowledgement Form". We can not begin to process your application until we receive this form from you. This is very important so do it now! It will only take 1-2 minutes. Simply copy (control C) and then paste (control V) the URL address below into the address field of your browser. (Please note that this acknowledgement form is NOT a secondary application and there is no fee for submitting it.)

When you submit the form, you will be taken automatically to the web site for the Office of Admissions. Read about "Changes for 2005" to our admissions policies and then click on "MD Program" and read the pages about eligibility, the admissions process, selection factors, and technical standards You should also read about our new branch campus at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, which is called "UMSM@FAU".
Most of our communications with you will be done by email. So make certain that your email address is correct on your AMCAS application. We have no way of independently changing your email address here in the Office of Admissions. All changes must be made through AMCAS.

Any other out of states get this, and if so did you get the actual secondary, and how long did it take you to get it. Also for anyone who heard about interviews or received 2ndary out of state what was your gpa? Thanks
