An investigator wishes to set up an assay to determine the activity of a hypothetical enzyme in biological samples. In preparing to do so, she measures enzyme activity by adding increasing amounts of substrate to an otherwise optimal incubation system. The data obtained are summarized below. Which of the following substrate concentrations would be most suitable for conducting the desired enzyme assays?
A. 0.30 mM
B. 1.20 mM
C. 1.50 mM
D. 2.00 mM
E. 3.00 mM

see pic attached for data table.

i am confused on how to go about this as you dont know vmax or km.

you measure enzyme activity at vmax so its E

(also note that you measure Km at 1/2vmax)
