 was interested in Michigan State and noticed that there was a Osteopathic and MD route.

Is there a huge difference in training, in the clinical setting. I heard that the DO and MD students attend the same lecture MS1 and MS2. Is that true?

Is there a difference in the type of residencies you can get?
Possible Plastic Surgery?

Our first year basic science classes are held together at MSU. Second year, CHM(m.d) does problem based learning, while COM(d.o) does systems based.
The hospitals where we rotate during years 3 and 4 are different as well. As far as plastic surgery residencies, there is some info about that on separate threads under residencies.
