I have been a looker on these forums for a while now and I have not found an answer to my question, so I will post it here.

I am a pre-medical student currently looking to retake some classes. I want to retake Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology. At my old university both Micro, Anatomy, and Physio were 4 unit courses.

I am now looking at a local university where I am able to take Micro and A&P. This local university offers Microbiology 1 and Microbiology 2, and A&P 1,2, and 3. All courses are 4 units sem and 6 units quarter.

My question is this, should I take all of the courses? I assume that taking Micro 1 and A&P 1 and 2 will satisfy my retake requirements. Since I am trying to retake 12 units of courses and taking just 3 will satisfy 12 units. However, if I also take Micro 2 and A&P 3 will that count in my admissions and raise my cum GPA, assuming I receive an A in all courses?

Can't help you on what will satisfy the retake, but I do support taking all 5 of those classes. They will all contribute to your GPA and will raise both your cum and science GPA.

Well, how much will it help your GPAs if you ace both of them? One of them?
