1. The spores can be aerolized. Spores can survive in soils for years.
To me, there are more downsides to using B. anthracis than there are upsides, since they are not contagious and the most common form is cutaneous which doesn't really have a high mortality rate.
2. I guess the older it is, the better the stain, since spores are a survival mechanism and only form when the organisms are under stress...

I'm not sure how useful survivability in soil conditions are to bioterrorism but creating airborne agents is a highly effective terrorism technique. However, to cultivate that much anthrax is tedious and requires quite an experienced person to do so.

Piston's Fan: Is Talagala getting you confused? She is supposed to be the easiest professor in that department. I suggest you go to the learning center since 'tutoring' someone over the internet isn't as optimal as a hands on setting.
