i am a 4th year med student applying to PM&R programs.

I am looking for some guidance, I would like to stick in the midwest, or go out west. I am wondering if anyone can relate any of their experiences (good or bad) that could help? Cush places? Great learning experiences? Got abused as cheap labor? any places to definitely check out or definitely avoid?

I would basically go anywhere but I probably want to avoid the very large metro areas (chicago, LA, etc)

Also, honestly, I am not a very strong applicant, probably slightly below average in my class.

right now, i am applying to programs in:
Madison, WI
Milwaukee, WI
Denver, CO
Seattle, WA
Minneapolis, MN
Sacramento, CA
Lansing, MI

How about Mayo or Indiana?

I'd also suggest OSU, UMich, Wayne State, and Cincy. OSU and UMich are the better of the four from what I've heard in the past.
