Pre-dental student applying this summer...My GPA is fair at about 3.4. My Science GPA is a 2.98. What are some midwest schools I should be applying to?

I am a Kansas resident.

Depending on your DAT scores, you my have some difficulty getting into state schools that don't offer to Kansas residents. I would apply to Midwestern university Illinois since it's in the Midwest and doesn't have state preference. Plus you should consider other private schools with your lower sGPA. Look up aadsas info for dental schools in Kansas and near Kansas to see how many Kansas residents get in.

UMKC hands down because about 20% of their class is from Kansas. The only concern is your GPA though. You need to have a pretty stellar DAT to get in. Also, add Colorado to that list. I met someone from there that was a Kansas resident.

I think your gpa is too low. I would do a masters and apply next year. Save the money

I haven't graduated yet, i'll be a senior. I'm taking the DAT this summer. Any further advice?

Apply to case western but I'd second the advice to do a post-bacc program
