so i was printing out my application just to have a copy and in the essay question sections, after printing it out...it doesnt have anything listed except some computer language stuff. Is this normally suppose to happen? i typed it in..and also copied and pasted and it still did the same thing. did anyone else have this problem?

My didn't do that. You might try a different browser. What browser were you using?

Hey guys I was just looking at direction from O'Hara airport to my hotel and I noticed that the highways require you to pay a toll.

If you go on GOOGLE MAPS, they have an option to show you an alternative route by skipping highways that require you to pay a toll.

I just wanted to give you a guys a warning so you don't unexpectedly pass a toll on the way to your hotels and end up with a ticket.

Thanks for the heads up. Yea, I noticed that as I was mapquesting for directions last night. I have never taken toll roads before except for the ones in Europe which cost a lot. I'm curious, how much do toll roads cost on average? The directions with toll roads seem less complicated than the ones without. But I'm planning on gathering different options in getting to the school/hotel just in case if something happens.

For those who plan to take the taxi from the airport to the hotel, the American taxi cost about $36 each way and you won't have the worry about the toll. Just letting you guys know! =)

Oh yea, good question. That's what I want to know too, in case if the whole rental car thing doesn't work out. Or, do I have to call the number in order for them to come? I'm also wondering how can we tell if it's not the city cab or not.

Yea You'll have to call. Im not exactly sure what the phone number is (I used the taxi to transport from the hotel to the airport but I had the front desk call in for me. But all the taxis congregate right outside of the baggage claim area. I know the city taxi was a lot more expensive (they were going to charge be $75!!). Happy traveling ~~~ =)

Just check google the name of your airport along with "american taxi" and you'll find info! hope that helps!

RxFanatic, I got an interview invite exactly 1 day after I turned in my supplemental. I was impressed by how fast they were!

I noticed Mercer U. was quick too; I think I got an invite from them within a week.

I waited for a month and a half. I think I submitted sometimes in the middle of August, but got an invite on Sept 30.

I'm from in-state, so maybe that makes a difference? And perhaps you haven't received an interview yet, because I don't think they set up the next interview date yet. Just be patient 🙂 I'm sure they take "breaks" in reviewing applications.

haha. i am probably the most impatient person alive.. this waiting nonsense is a killer! i sent out my supp 10/09ish i think.. so i'm hoping to hear soon! at this point i'm okay w/a rejection letter, i just want a letter of some sort! 😀

Oh my goodness, you had just sent in your supplemental over a week ago! I had to wait for over a month before I received the invite. Actually, they didn't send me an email, but I luckily decided to check on the online interactive right in the nick of time. I would give them another couple of weeks.

Interview is an important process, we had group interview because they want to see how wel you interact with people. That is the main reason why they want it that way. Also, the essay was intented to see if you are professional enough to be in pharmacy school. I think I did good enough to show the points. Still, I do not know how they grade students

Yea, I thought most of us did well in general, so I figured it's going to be tough for the adcom to select applicants.

I have a feeling they invite those who meet the requirements, and then evaluate everything at once. I initially thought they only look into the interview performance + essay after passing the academic hurdle. Oh well, I guess we'll find out if we get in or not hopefully by the end of this month or beginning of November.

I'm sure they do not invite everyone who meets their requirements. If they did, certainly they would be interviewing far more than about 500 applicants. They must use some sort of formula to determine who gets an invite for the mandatory campus visit.

It would be nice to know our status by the end of the month, but I'm thinking it will be the first of November.
