Midwestern CPG Alternate List --Anyone else waiting??

I was wondering if anyone else is on the alternate list for Midwestern CPG. 😕 This waiting game is killin' me! Which month does the list move the most at schools in general? I thought June,... which is making me even more paranoid b/c it's already past mid-month. I know the lists remain active up until the first day of class, but that seems so far away at this point. Oh well....I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🙂

I'm on the alternative list... but I really don't care about it anymore. I will stay in undergrad for another year and reapply to more gradschools this year... but hey, good luck to you!! 🙂

Did you already call and remove your name off the list? If so...YAY...one spot closer for me! I did hear that there are about 100 people on the list...that seems like alot! But, if there are more people like you that are making other commitments....then that might cut that number in half... 🙂

I'm praying I get selected...that would be a dream come true. 😉

Hmm, I didn't remove myself off the list, hahahaha... but I'm pretty sure the school wouldn't consider me anyway 😛

Ya, I heard of a couple people getting in as well. I can only imagine the feeling.... 😳 At least the list has been moving pretty fast! I hope they call more people throughout July. Good luck everyone

I interviewed on April 10th... have been on alternate list since April 28th.
I am hopeful, but not optimistic at this point.

I have been on the list since mid-February!! 🙁 It seems like I've been waiting forever...but, I really didn't start getting paranoid about everything until the interviews were up the end of April and then throughout May and June when people release their seats.

I want a seat there more than anything right now, but I am slowly starting to plan for next year. I'm also an alternate at another school, but Midwestern-CPG is by far my first choice. 🙂

Anyone on the alternate list still waiting? Or, has anyone declined their acceptance just recently to MWU-CPG?

I am going crazy with this waiting. 😱 This stress/worrying and constant waiting by my cell phone is out of control. Slowly,.... I'm starting to convince myself to plan for next year. 🙁 I am waitlisted at another school, but haven't heard anything from them either. While reading through this forum I noticed more and more people on the waitlist. I wonder what qualities/aspects of an individual's application do they really look for when pulling the next name...?? I guess at the end it boils down to whether your lucky enough to get a seat or not.

Anyone else feel like me...?

No, the list is not ranked. In my alternate letter it never gave me a number. Ya, I check Interact Now alot to see if other people post questions. I know that there are 100+ are on the list, which is why I think I might have to start planning for next year. 🙁 I know they have accepted several people off the list, but don't know how many more people will decline their acceptances since it's already the end of June 🙁

I wish I knew more about the process of how they go about selecting the next name off the list.... mostly GPA, interview, PCAT, etc...

I think at this point, since all of the interviews are over, they are deciding things based mostly off the interview. We all made it to the interview, so we clearly all have some unique and strong qualities. I think the order is Interview, PCAT/GPA = tie. Good luck guys!

I thought that my interview went good even though I thought I had a tough panel. The two older guys that I interviewed with were very serious and the only one that really smiled/laughed at all in my interview was the pharmacy student...she was very nice and cherry. I don't know, I guess if my interview was that good I probably would have been accepted instead of being placed on the alternate list 🙁
Oh well....I don't know of anyone this week that was called. Hopefully next week I'll get that call This process has just been so frustrating.

I had a different panel...don't recall their names. I had my interview in January!! Seems like ages ago.
They only people that I've heard getting off the waitlist were interviewed in April. Is this true? Has anyone been admitted off the list that wasn't interviewed in April? Maybe they are the ones that are "fresh" in the minds of the adcom. I sure hope they didn't forget about the ones they put on the list at the beginning of the year! 🙁

Still no word....

Does anyone know from experience if they make alternate calls mostly in the mornings, or late afternoons? Just wondering, since I'm usually busy most of the day.

This month has probably been the most stressful and anxiety-prone month ever! 🙁 Are most alternates taken in June, July, or August? Does anyone have any info?

I'm starting to plan for next year and I'm thinking of getting a masters in the time being. I hate not being in school and really want to go back!! I WILL get into pharmacy school eventually!! 🙂 Keeping myself optomistic....

yeah, no kidding! it's beyond your control so u need to relax already.

getting pulled off the alternate list is random because no matter what, they have to wait for movement and for people to decline or drop before they can do anything anyways.
