Miini - I sent my application about a month ago and still haven't heard anything. Not sure if that makes you feel better or not ha ha. I have read though that Midwestern tends to never get back to people so I would recommend waiting a month or so and touching base with the admissions office to confirm they have all your materials etc. Its a good way to get on their radar screen too!

Last week, I received an email from Midwestern in IL offering me an interview. The interview date is October 17, but according to their email, more interview dates will be opening up soon. Due to a school conflict, I will be waiting for the additional dates. Hope this info helps.
I submitted my application at the end of August.
Make sure to check your midwestern portal. I received an email from Midwestern Arizona inviting me for an interview. When I logged onto my portal I saw that Illinois had also invited me, but I received no emails from them until I scheduled my interview.
My OTCAS was verified on September 20. On September 24, I got an email from then saying my application was under review. On September 27, I was invited for an interview.
My OTCAS application was verified on the 18th and I have received two emails from Midwestern saying that all my information has been received and I was also mailed a letter saying that they will notify me once they make a decision. May I ask what your Stats are and how many places/hours you did observation or volunteer hours?

Thanks hbroth!
Has anyone who interviewed within the past couple months heard back regarding whether or not they've been accepted? I looked back to previous threads and some students heard back a week or so later.
Also this is my first grad school interview, is there anything I should be bringing? I was planning on bringing a professional folder with some resumes, a pen, and something to write notes on. Thanks in advance!

At my interview, they gave us a folder with the schedule for the day and a lot of info about the OT program. They actually specifically told us that we wouldn't need anything to write notes on 🙂 It was very relaxed and more like a conversation than an interview. Hope this helps!
Hey OTrocks18-
Sorry for not responding sooner but I just didn't want to post anything until I heard back from Midwestern. I got accepted as of today!
My stats are pretty average, but I did have what I believe was a strong personal statement and strong LORs (the rest of my stats are under the stickys). I was invited to interview 12/6/13, interviewed 12/10/13 and accepted (12/13/13).
If you have any specific questions feel free to private message me!

My application has been consider complete since the beginning of September and I still have not heard either way from Midwestern. I have called a few times and they are pretty vague by saying my application is "still under consideration". I am getting anxious. Has anyone waited this amount of time and gotten an invite for an interview? Or does anyone have recommendations for someone else to contact alternatively than the admissions office.
Thanks so much !
Thanks so much !
I got an interview invitation about a week after applying in Mid November, but I think people have already received denials too. The fact that you haven't means you really are still in consideration. If the admissions office is telling you that, I think you have to just take them at their word. Trying to go over their heads may cause problems.

I applied in early September and just got an invitation for an interview in February about a week ago! So don't lose hope!
