Hi guys! I've got an interview scheduled this Tuesday in Midwestern, AZ. Those of you who already got interviewed there, could you please share your experience? I would appreciate any advices. Thank you very much!

It is very relaxed, so don't go into it stressed out. Just be yourself and have fun! The interview itself was less than 30 minutes and seemed more like a conversation than an interview to me.

If you have an more specific questions do not hesitate to send me a private message. Good luck!!!

Interview was very relaxed. Check the interview feedback, day was just like that.

My interview was a little bit more stressful than just a "conversation". I mentioned how I was interested in public health and then the doctor interviewing me said "well you know there's a school across town that specializes in public health." Then the conversation got a little awkward haha. But I was still accepted December 1st so it went well from there. Maybe just don't mention public health a lot.

Too bad these schools don't have sports teams. They're like crosstown rivals. They're both solid clinical schools, but they have almost polar philosophies.

It's relaxed. Make sure you look at everyone in the room when your in your interview. I know some people didn't and they didn't get accepted because of it.

Thank you very much, guys! 🙂 It's tomorrow... How many people/interviewers were present at your interviews?

There's actually a list of 7 questions they ask. Some about ethics, one about what you consider success in dentistry, etc.

I think I came off sounding too rehearsed. He literally asked me if I had heard the question before... =S

Is it true that Midwestern AZ tends to interview a bunch of people? Whereas Midwestern IL is alot more selective in terms of who they invite for interviews?

Does anyone know where I can find these 7 questions.
Thanks

Are we interviewed in a group setting or individually?

Individually. This was my easiest interview. Very conversational. If there were indeed 7 questions, I missed the transition somewhere. I loved how involved the dean was throughout the interview day. And that he read our personal statements.

It's a really great school. I interviewed there last year. I was with Dr. Zais (sp?), and a student, and it was really laid back. Not too many questions, and lots of chances to ask questions. Facilities are very new and top-notch as well. Relax and good luck.

which hotel did you guys stay at for interviewing at Midwestern?
