To tell you the truth the only phone call I got was from Colorado. I had to call everybody else and beg for like two hours, promising to name my first-born after them etc. etc.
Well the joke is on them my first-born is 2 years old already!

I got a letter in the mail with no phone call. I guess I'm not as special. An acceptance nevertheless.
Those who have Midwestern as there first choice will love it. I had two brothers graduate from their DO program and they loved it. The school was especially cool with their families and they made some life long friends with fellow students.

for those of us who did not get a phone call....thanks for getting our hopes up! LOL. i'm really hoping the same thing happens to me (no phone call but acceptance letter)

This was my first interview so I was quite shy and timid. I wasnt too surprised that I didnt get the call.

I called them on Monday and they told me that my application hadn't even been looked at yet, the only thing it said on mine was that i had been interviewed. What's up with the total rejection of not even being considered. I hate this!!! I'll probably get a wait list letter in the mail next week! ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

I called yesterday to check my status. They told me that they mailed out letters on Friday that told all applicants their admissions status. I haven't received anything yet. hmmm. Looks like we're gonna have to do some more waiting around. 🙂

just speculating......maybe acceptances were sent out before waitlists/rejections. no one has posted a rejection/waitlist letter after interviewing. only people who have recieved acceptances have gotten something in the mail already.....i'm from FL and someone in my state has already recieved their acceptance packet. either that or people are so bummed about midwestern that they aren't posting here.

You are correct, ONLY the acceptances were sent out on friday. I spoke with someone on the adcom on the 3rd and she said that waitlist/rejection letters would be sent out in no less than two weeks, so don't expect to hear anything from them until at least the 17th.

were you rejected with an interview? or just rejected? they have been sending out rejections w/o interviews for a while now. i'm hoping they aren;t rejection people they've interviewed

Rejection after interview. My first interview ever 🙁.They will have interviewed ~450-500 people for their 105 seats. Pretty high number I would say.
