I just today received a letter by mail stating that my app was on hold and I still have a chance of receiving an interview and was not rejected yet. I was just wondering whether anyone else received it, and if everyone who did not get an interview was sent this letter... Thanks

MWUAZ did the same thing last year.. I was waitlisted for an INTERVIEW but was NOT rejected... However, I was eventually rejected (around march/april).

No... waitlist for an interview means waitlist for an interview. why do people here always jump the gun lol

It just means they aren't interested in you at the moment. If they have room in their class/interview schedule, they will refer to you.

Yes! Same, I didn't receive a letter but I called. They told me I would not receive an interview invite this round but they re-evaluate all applications again for the next round. I was pretty sad 🙁
