I called today and found out I was put on the alternate list. Anyone else in the same boat? I loved everything about the school, so I'm holding out hope. Does anyone know about how many people get put on the list, how fast it moves etc? The lady in the admissions office I spoke with said it is unranked, and every time they have an opening they go through their list of potentials and make a decision. I really wish it was ranked so I'd know what my chances are!

In the past cycle I had multiple friends pulled off the waitlist. Some in May others all the way up until the 2nd day of orientation in August. Just hang in there (easy to say, hard to do) but be considerate of applying again. EDIT: I see that you already have acceptances so no worries about a reapply! I would prefer Arizona over Cleveland too though.

Me too! Loved the school but it's still too new for me to choose it over others that have a very solid rep...

I got the letter in the mail telling me I was on the alternate list on Friday. I called to see how many were on the list, and I was told 177 people! Does that seem like a lot to anyone else? I thought in years past the list for Midwestern was only around 50, but maybe I was mistaken. Kinda depressing.... I feel like my chances of getting in are now significantly lower...

177!!!!!!! That's almost 2X last year's list. At least you have acceptances to other schools.
