Might be a stupid question: Do adcoms review your app before mcat score is in?

I am assuming your file is not considered complete until your MCAT score is sent. Is this right? So I'm not going to take the MCAT until August probably and I want to apply early in June. Is there any point in turning in the rest of my app material in June if it's not going to be complete until August or later? Will they still look at your app if you are not complete?

Even if they don't review it until your scores arrive, submitting your application early will give you a leg up on the verification process. Don't wait too long.

Like saqrfaraj said, by submitting early, you can get the rest of your application to be verified while you wait for your MCAT scores to come back. This is exactly what I did this cycle. Submitted in June, verified in July, took MCAT in August, received scores in September.

Also, I submitted my secondaries during the month of August so that my entire application (not just primary) would be complete in September. It's a bit of a calculated risk, but if you're scoring well on your practice tests, I would advise you to do what I did so that you don't lose too much ground against other applicants.
