If you're looking for a rewarding career with good pay and benefits, consider the FAP Program. In addition to your resident salary, you will get $1907 monthly and an annual grant of $45,000. You can make nearly six figures during residency. Military Service Payback is years supported during Internship/Residency + one. It's a good deal.

Here is a thread that discusses pros/cons:

If you have questions, please fire me an email: www.andrew-doan.com on my website. I am currently a Commander and have served 9 years after the FAP Program at the U of Iowa and Jules Stein for fellowship.
