PhD/PsyD Military Psychologists

I’m thinking about accepting a civilian position with the DOD. For those of you that work in this environment/with this population what is your experience? Any challenges with the hierarchical nature of the environment? What have been the biggest challenges you’ve experienced in this line of work? Any specifics I should look out for or negotiate in a position of this nature? (salary, benefits, admin support, patient time etc all looks good to me so far) Thanks in advance!!
