Military question RE: Code 4a

If your familiar with the military and DD214's ... I have a question .. If one has a general under honorable discharge, RE code 4a.. After dental school, do you think there a chance to still enlist in the hsps program?

First, HPSP. Second, you enter HPSP prior/during first year of dental school, not after. There are other types of military opportunities after dental school however. As DentStudentc/o2017 said, search around in the Military Dentistry Forum.

I am guessing u are academy cadet before? If so, this might help.

My wife and I were both USAF academy cadet and left voluntarily ( no academic, honor, misconduct etc)

She went to civilian school to complete her engineering degree and apply for direct commission, they ask her to write an essay to explain why she left at the first place and have to go to an extra interview.


Now is an officer and just got accepted for HPSP( the active duty one, separate from the the civilian one)
